‘Everything But The Kitchensink’ is een serie van kunstwerken in ‘faux-naive’ stijl. Gemaakt met alleen afgedankte producten, voornamelijk met early-plastics. Onderzoek voor dit project naar die vergeten early-plastic producten heeft geleid tot een reeks abstracte objecten en figuratieve 3D portretten in vriendelijke kleuren. Mimi Berlin is een interdisciplinair creatief collectief. Doel en missie is om elkaar te inspireren door middel van kunst, design en fotografisch gerelateerde projecten. Leden van het Mimi Berlin collectief gebruiken de naam als pseudoniem, ook voor werk in groepsverband.

‘Everything But The Kitchensink‘ is a faux-naif body of art by Mimi Berlin. Created with discarded products only and mainly with early-plastics. Research for this project into these forgotten early-plastic products has led to a series of abstract objects and figurative portraits in friendly colors. Needless to say the artworks are made from all kinds of plastic: bakelite, celluloid, rubber... you name it. Everything but the Kitchen Sink!
Mimi Berlin is an interdisciplinary creative collective. Its goal and mission is to inspire each other through art, design and photography related projects. Members of the Mimi Berlin collective use the name as a pseudonym, also in groupcontext.
